Despite the crazy 50mph winds in Colorado Springs today, Blake and Olivia got their engagement photos taken! They are such a beautiful couple and I can't wait to take their wedding photos in Baltimore, Maryland this October!

Hey Friends!

Sorry it's been awhile. You see, this year is coming to an end and my schedule has consisted of homework, working out, soaking up Colorado, enjoying friends, and writing papers.

I just wanted to share with you all a few pictures I got of James and Lacie two weekends ago. They were such a fun couple to photograph! I know God is going to richly bless both of them in great and mighty ways.

As some of you might know, I graduate from the New Life School of Worship in exactly 2 weeks! I can't even describe to you how excited I am to graduate, not because I want to leave Colorado, but because it still blows my mind that I, Brianne Swee, got accepted into this program! ME!? Now, I could ramble on and on and on and on and on and...(I think you get the picture), about how much I've grown and learned this year, but instead, I'd much rather tell you some of my future goals, dreams, and desires that God's placed on my heart. Some of them seem simple, yet some will take time, but I know these are dreams and goals I can accomplish with the help of my best friend, Jesus! He's promised to never leave or forsake me. And it's through Him I can do ALL things.

*make a CD that will inspire and encourage people
*have my photography business grow
*make new life-long friendships
*go on a missions trip
*get out of debt
*take a vacation to Mexico
*see two of my closest friends get married
*learn how to play the bass, violin, cello, and electric guitar
*complete P90x
*do a mini marathon
*visit Estes Park
*hike up the incline in 39 minutes
*restore old friendships
*go camping in the mountains of Colorado
*try kayaking
*attempt to snowboard
*get more plugged in with New Life Church
*fast on a regular basis
*be apart of "The Thorn" in 2011
*fall more in love with Jesus

I'm so excited for this summer and for the internship next year that I can hardly contain myself.

What a wonderful journey I'm on with my sweet Jesus :)

wow. i'm blogging.

i never ever, ever, ever thought i would do this,

but i think it could be fun.

i'm not promising you a new post every day...or every week, but i will try my absolute hardest.

anyways, today i made the most amazing cookies i've had in a looong time. although some would say that they look like a 'doggy dump,' they are extremely delicious and super easy to make!

here's the recipe!

Peanut Butter FIlled Chocolate Cookies

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter

Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a medium mixing bowl stir together flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda. In another mixing bowl, beat together butter, the 1/2 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, and the 1/4 cup peanut butter with an electric mixer until combined. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Beat in as much of the dry ingredients as you can with mixer. Stir in remaining dry ingredients by hand with a wooden spoon. Form chocolate dough into 32 balls about 1-1/4 inches in diameter.

For peanut butter filling, in a medium mixing bowl combine powdered sugar and the remaining 1/2 cup peanut butter until smooth. Shape mixture into 32 (3/4-inch) balls. On a work surface, slightly flatten a chocolate dough ball and top with a peanut butter ball. Shape the chocolate dough over the peanut butter filling, completely covering the filling. Roll dough into a ball. Repeat with the remaining chocolate dough and peanut butter filling balls.

Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake ‘em in for 8-10 minutes or until they’re just set and surface is slightly cracked. Let cookies stand for 1 minute. Transfer cookies to wire racks; cool. They will be slightly soft so don’t overbake ‘em unless you want to play ice hockey out front with them.
